Irrigations with O2/O3 Gas Mixtures

Therapeutic action of ozone achieves its maximum at moist areas, thus the parts of the body treated should be previously moistened with distilled water, physiological saline or antiseptic.

By means of rubber bandage (2) hermetically fasten the chamber onto the limb treated or torso. Connect the chamber to ozone generator and destructor by using a connection tube from the connection set (Order-No. 50\07). Start the treatment after setting treatment parameters on the ozone generator in accordance with the physician's manual.

 

Here are some pointers to eliminate inhalative exposure of ozone on both the patient and medical practitioner:

  • The treatment should be performed in a well-ventilated room or in a room with plenum-exhaust ventilation;
  • Before the treatment make sure that the chamber is intact to ensure hermetic fixation of all connections;
  • After the treatment remove residual ozone/oxygen mixture out of the chamber to a destructor by using the Multipurpose Pumping Unit MEDOZONS-UPM.
